If you want to apply custom CSS to a section itself in Shopify, enclose it in { } without a selector name.

Custom CSS can be added to each section in the theme editor, but if you want to apply it to the section itself, you can just surround it with {} without a selector. When I checked the source code, the section's ID was automatically added.
