When setting up discounts (coupons) for products in Shopify, you may want to exclude sale items. To do this, you can create a private collection that contains only regular-priced products, and then create a discount exclusive to that collection.
Example of setting to prevent "product discounts" that can be applied to multiple purchased items from being applied to sale items
[Setup Method 1] Create a collection for regular-priced items (excluding sale items)
[Setup Method 2] Create a product discount that applies only to products included in the collection created in Setup Method 1.
[Note] If only some of the variants are on sale, it will not match the conditions specified in Setting Method ①.
