This is an example of how to set up "Image Search Refinement," which was also introduced in Shopify Editions Summer '24. By setting a meta object as a meta field, you can display an image in the refinement value.
Example of implementing image-based search using the Search & Discovery app
[Setting Method 1] Define a meta object with one filter value field and one image field, and create an object with the value you want to filter.
[Setting Method 2] Add a metafield definition for the product and set the metafield value for the product to be filtered
[Setting Method 3] Add a filter to Search & Discovery and specify an image as an option
