We sometimes receive requests to set priorities for Shopify collections and adjust the display order of products. Although it is not possible to do it fully automatically and in real time, we sometimes use an app called Matrixify to perform bulk updates via CSV based on the priorities set in meta fields.
How to set the display order priority for product information and set the display order for collections (semi-automatic process using the Matrixify app by downloading data → processing → uploading)
① Create a display order priority setting item in the product meta field and set the priority for each product
② Use Matrixify to export the target collection and product information
3) Use the downloaded collection and product information data to change the product order and create a CSV for uploading
